Client Reviews
“Eva and her wonderful family took amazing care of my high-energy Gus! They gave him tons of walks, playtime and love, sent heaps of pics while I was away and made sure he felt right at home. When I picked him up, he was so happy and tired. Proof he had the best time ever!! I felt at ease knowing he was with such a caring family. Cannot recommend them enough!”

About Me
Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, but my interest in canine behaviour truly began while volunteering at the Bargo Dingo Sanctuary. Observing dingoes communicate, interact and express their natural behaviours sparked a deeper interest in understanding how dogs think, learn and respond to the world around them.
Since then, I’ve continued to build my knowledge through both formal education and hands-on experience. I hold a Certificate III in Dog Behaviour and Training through the National Dog Trainers Federation, a Certificate II in Animal Studies through TAFE NSW, Animal First Aid certification, and a current Police Check.
My experience includes working in dog daycare environments, attending professional training seminars and working with dogs of different breeds, temperaments and behavioural needs. I’ve also led structured group walks, developing practical experience in canine body language, group dynamics, safe handling and behaviour management.
My Approach to Dog Training & Care
My approach is grounded in fair, balanced and relationship-based training. I believe dogs thrive when communication is clear and consistent, with appropriate boundaries, guidance and reinforcement.
I use a combination of positive reinforcement, clear communication and fair corrections where appropriate, always considering the individual dog, their temperament and what they are communicating through their behaviour. Rather than focusing solely on obedience, I aim to build engagement, confidence, neutrality and emotional regulation that carries over into everyday life.
I place a strong emphasis on real-world learning. Walks, new environments, social interactions and everyday routines provide opportunities to practise skills such as loose-leash walking, recall, impulse control, settling and appropriate behaviour around other dogs.
My approach to boarding and day care follows the same philosophy. I believe dogs need a healthy balance of physical exercise, mental enrichment, appropriate socialisation and quality rest. Dogs are given opportunities to explore and engage in natural behaviours, while also having structure and clear expectations throughout their day.
Ultimately, my goal is to provide a balanced environment where dogs can enjoy freedom while still having structure, build confidence through new experiences and learn how to switch off and settle when the day is done.
